Pues si mis querid@s, hace algunos días leí un artículo en una revista sobre este estilo moderno y empecé a navegar por el ciber espacio y me encontré con que hasta tienen una entrada en wikipedia y me encanta, ahí les dejo el apunte:
Este arte empezó en Estados Unidos, es una forma de reinventar el tricot, y de hacer los monumentos o los espacios públicos más cálidos, así es como lo definen sus seguidores.
Su creadora es Magda Sayeg quien fundó el movimiento con seguidores anónimos, el grupo mezcla la terminología del tricotado artesanal con el estilo hip -hop, así que cambiaron el nombre de Knitting a Knitta para «representar los alias tradicionales del arte callejero.

This art started in the U.S.A and is a way to reinvent knitting. It makes monuments or public spaces warmer, or at least that is how its’ followers define it.The creator is Magda Sayeg, who founded the movement with anonymous followers, the group mixing knitting artisan terminology with the hip-hop style, so they transformed the name knitting to knitta to “represent the traditional nickname of street art”.
Como pueden ver es bastante original y trabajado, nada que envidiar a los grafiteros de tinta.
As you can see, it is really original and hard work and can be compared with graffiti ink so the graffiti artists don’t have to feel envious.
